New and automated technologies are increasingly having an impact on health and safety at work. This can create opportunities and possibilities to make work easier for people and to avoid exposing them to certain dangers – or the danger of new, unprecedented dangers and threats that need to be addressed. In any case, increasing digitisation is changing work situations, processes and risk scenarios, which in some cases require a radical reorientation with regard to technical, organisational and personal health and safety at work.

The „traditional“ frontal teaching with or without Power Point can certainly still be used, but should move more and more into the background. Not least also by new technical possibilities, knowledge Transfer can take place effectively and also efficiently: Terms and topics such as „Augmented Reality, 3 D Simulation, Virtual Commissioning” offer technical approaches and possibilities for new forms of knowledge transfer. As far as the didactic framework is concerned, terms such as “webinar, self-determined learning or blended learning” are possible options to traditional approaches. Let‘s find out together – supported by experts – which possibilities and alternatives there are in comparison to the classical lecture.
